Book Launch for Hobbs of Henley: a History [POSTPONED]

[The launch event described below has been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak. A new date will be arranged in due course]

On Thursday 21 May, Hobbs of Henley and the River and Rowing Museum will be hosting a book launch for Hobbs of Henley: A History by Dr Simon Wenham. This will involve a one-hour boat cruise (with a Hobbs gin and tonic or soft drink included), followed by a talk by the author at the museum on the history of the firm entitled ‘Wharfs, wheelhouses and watermen: the history of Hobbs of Henley’. Copies of the publication will be available at a discounted rate (normal RRP £14.99) and there will be a book signing after the date. Tickets for the cruise and talk are £15.
